Tree of many meanings
This tree reminds me of life, yet so deprived of colour and soul.It tells me of the many burdens it has to carry on that one trunk,
the roots which holds it,
unseen.
This tree, shows me how natural it looks in its environment,
yet so different from the blue sky and green grass which is in abundance,
wherelse the tree stands alone, awkward and silent.
The tree looks tired, dry, its existence a mere obligation,
its bark rough, exaggerated by the fluffy white clouds.
This tree, smells of burnt wood 'gainst the flushing green meadows.
This tree exists as mere obligation.
