Somethings Just Never Change
Since i'm on hols now with nothing much to do, been browsing friendster a lot, looking at how my friends are doing wherever they are. Its been a year or more since i last talked to them, since we parted ways. I'm not very good at keeping in touch, i realise. E mails unanswered, msn msgs replied an hour later. Not very good at it, i know. But thanx to friendster, i get to browse ppl's pictures. Pictures are indeed very powerful. I'm so happy to see my friends smiling in the pics, having the time of their lives. Everyone, regardless of where they are, are doing good.Yet, along with the new photos were photos taken long ago, some in secondary school, or even in college. My my, haven't we grown. Its pretty amazing to see that these are the ppl you grew up with and although we may think that we haven't changed at all since... God knows when, the pictures says all. Despite the physical changes (girls prettier, guys hotter), the person really hasn't changed much. In fact, i think if we were to repeat the trips that we've gone together last time with the exact company today, the shots taken would still look the same - someone being close to that special someone, good friends remain as they are. Still frames may be the same, but... the entire collection may be different.Now, lets just hope pictures tell the truth.
