The Bachelor of E Block
IT all started with Strawberry Ice Cream. A friend of mine has this weird craving for strawberry ice cream and after a few days of incessant whining about how good strawberry ice cream is, all of us suddenly have the craving too. So after mugging session 2 ie 2pm-5.30pm, we (Grace and I) headed for a local supermarket not very far away. Although we saw the dark clouds looming, we just happily ignored it and proceeded without an umbrella. So off we were, happily shopping for ice cream. After 30 mins of walking around, we ended up with neopolitan ice cream, strawberries and onion rings. We wanted to cook supper tonight u see, like have an ice cream supper with waffles and whipped cream and chocolate sauce. BUTT that stoopid supermarket doesn't have waffles or whiped cream! Sigh.........
So on our way back, it started to rain. Lightly at first, until we alighted the bus at the bus stop 200 m away from our hall. Then it started to pour heavily. By the time we got back to hall, we were drenched and laughing till our sides hurt.
11.30pm. Its SUPPER time!. 3rd floor becomes noisy and messy. It was also a friend's birthday. So, sans a cake and candles, replaced by a tub of ice cream and a lighter, we sang a happy birthday song and dig into the ice cream. I chipped in mash potatoes and sausages while the seniors bought fried noodles from the cafe downstairs. Sat, talked, played stoopid games.
Then, Grace and her sidekick Melfy had this crazy idea of having "The Bachelor" E block version. The Bachelor is non other than WAYNE (real name Wei-Ern, 3rd year senior). One by one we did our audition tapes, stating why we loved him. My role is the deranged woman who is obsessed with him. My lines were:
*action*
"Wayne, i know that u're my soulmate. You're my one and only. We're gonna get married k? "
*Smile*
"YOU'RE MINE!"
*cut*
Haha followed by some other stoopid takes like a catfight only to be interrupted by a guy who is a gay. There's even a poster up in the lift now with his picture. I'll try to get the poster and post it online. Haha... this is hillarious. I can't wait to see his reaction.
Oh man.... Physics exam is on Friday followed by an onslaught of papers the next week. What am i doing auditioning for The Bachelor ??????
